About Biomimetics24
Advancing the Biomimetics Industry. Creating a Sustainable Future.
The inaugural Biomimetics International Industry Strategy Symposium (Biomimetics24) will advance the biomimetics industry and accelerate the adoption of nature-inspired innovations. This convening will be transformative in the global quest to build a sustainable future inspired by nature’s genius.
Hosted at the University of Minnesota, this industry strategy symposium will convene the global biomimicry community, composed of academia, researchers, policymakers, native nations, and businesses. This event is the first of its kind to gather key players across the growing industry and will promote and catalyze: industry dialogue, cutting-edge research, best practices, collaboration and partnerships, standardized methodologies, and economic action at scale in the many emerging fields of biomimicry.
Participants will enjoy: inspiring and substantive networking, knowledge sharing, and advocacy across diverse biomimicry applications from construction and health to textiles, consumer goods, AI, education, and more.

What is Biomimicry?
Biomimicry is an innovative approach where nature’s designs and processes are emulated to solve human problems, promoting sustainability and efficiency.
Why Biomimetics?
Biomimetics is the field that encompasses the study and imitation of nature's genius and its models, systems, and elements to solve complex human systems. It includes biomimicry and other approaches and as used by Biomimetics International is focused on sustainable strategies and solutions.
"Our purpose in uniting the pioneering minds and organizations in the fields of biomimicry, much like we did in the Semiconductor industry, is to amplify the impact of this powerful approach on a global scale. Our goal is to create a collaborative ecosystem that accelerates research, innovation, and education in biomimicry, ultimately driving the widespread adoption of nature-inspired solutions across all industries."
